Em's recycled Bags

There are so many cute ideas for upcycling to create bags! I made this cute tote from an unwanted but funky t-shirt. I have also made a bag from cargo pants similar to this one, but didn't take a photo.

Fold-up bag

I have had these 2 pillow cases for a while to make something with. I love the pattern. I made reusable bags using this style. I really liked the idea of the button and elastic closure of this style bag so incorporated that into it. I tried to make it as easy as possible to fold as I gave them to my aunties.

Other bag tutorials/ideas:

Messanger bag from cargo pants

t-shirt Duffle bag (The Patchwork Bear makes bags and other memorabilia from old t-shirts..)
Lego bag- Definitely to make when we have kids! Becomes a toy mat  that can be drawn up into a bag!
Denim jean bag

I love most of her dress styles as they often have a vintage feel. I just wish she posted more before and after's together..

Ladygirl Vintage Refashion Blog

Ladygirl Vintage has some great refashion creations with a vintage twist. I love the cut little dresses she makes using ugly over sized and unwanted op hop finds. She even has tutorials on her blog.
