I had my first try at patchwork. I used half square triangles in my favourite colour, purple and the contrasting colour orange/yellow. Luckily, I have access to my mother-in-laws fabric stash so could use all different patterns. She also helped me, being a patchworker herself. Being padded it is great protection.
