Rustic Decor

I love the rustic look of old materials recycled into something else. I love the familiar in unfamiliar places that make you think twice and ask "is that made from..." And of course the recycling aspect to minimise waste etc..

Old tub ottoman
Shutter side table
India scrapbook table
Old Door corner shelf
Rake wineglass holder
Old window frame to photo frame
Rustic wooden skirting board
Plumbing Bookshelf
Storage to shelf
Truck spring stools.  Love!

Windmill
Spoon lights
Other places with recycled rustic furniture items:
Atelier 4/5
Not Just Another Housewife
Absolutely Beautiful Things

  2. Freaky how we share so many ideas! I once used white marble fragments for a splashback sorta like your skirting board, and since have seen it down with random timber off-cuts. And those spoon lights! Gorgeous.

  5. The Rustic Skirting Board - how did it get its unique shape? My friend is trying to say its the result of being burnt. Is it naturally that shape?
